Designers Unite is the home of the alumni of the RDI (Royal Designers for Industry) Summer School.
It was created by some of the participants of the 8th RDI Summer School in response to a brief set during their summer school. We realised that it would be fantastic if we could find a way of getting the alumni from all the previous (and future) summer schools to stay in touch.
We've set the site up with a few main aims:
- To keep everyone in touch with each other, and with the latest news from the alumni
- To initiate regular social events
- To provide profiles of all the alumni
- To initiate and run regular Designers Unite Projects, with the aim of focusing the incredible creative talents of the alumni on selected issues for the benefit of society and the environment
The RDI Summer School alumni are an incredible creative resource. We know that if we put our minds together, we can achieve wonderful things.
